FAQs

1. How do 'Promo Codes' work?

A promo code is usually a combination of letters and numbers which you enter into a dedicated promo box on the retailer's website. They are also know as 'coupon codes', 'discount vouchers' and 'voucher codes' and provide an instant discount which you'll see applied at the checkout after you've entered the code. To use a promo code you just need to click on the offer link on mypromocodes.co.za, it will then display the promo code and open the retailer's website in a new window. Copy the code and then enter it when you reach the checkout stage, click on 'apply code' (or similar) and you'll see the discount.

2. How do 'Offers' work?

Most of the discounts listed on mypromocodes.co.za are 'offers' which means that they provide a discount which you don't need a promo code for. For example this could be an offer for a sale on the site, or for a free trial of a service. To obtain your discount just click on the 'Go To Deal' link next to the offer and you will then be taken directly to the company providing the offer. The website will open in a new window so that you don't lose which part of the mypromocodes.co.za site you are browsing.

3. How do 'Printable Vouchers' work?

Printable Vouchers provide you with offline offers and are often used for restaurants or leisure tickets. To get the voucher you just need to click on the offer link - you'll then be either provided with the voucher to download instantly or taken to the restaurant or retailer site to obtain the voucher. After you've downloaded the printable voucher make sure you fill it in if any information is requested, and take it with you to redeem your discount.
